| We operate a fleet of vans, mainly 4m Mercedes and VW models,
plus some Transits |
| We also operate a fleet of JCB 3CX excavators, replacing
them every 6 months, averaging 2000 hours for each machine |
| |
| For Airside of Road civil works we operate Land Rover's 90,
110 and 130 models. The Land Rover 130 4 door pickup is our heavyweight, we consider
it the best available |
| Our clients are widely spread, we average 8 - 10 hour roundtrips,
so we operate Land Rover Discoverys, Mitsubishi Shoguns and Toyota Jeeps within
our fleet - a Discovery covered 53,000 miles in a season |

| Crafco heater extruder applies overband Seal Squeegee system
at BAA Edinburgh airport - the only machine of its type in the UK |
| The Crafco heater extruder applied 600 gallons of overband
sealant, the equivalent of 12,000m in 3 nights at BAA Aberdeen airport, between
flights. The high output of the machine means less time in operational areas -
just what the client wants! |

| Terrex 8 ton excavator applies the final grade on a pump
for the delethalisation programme while 3 Johnstone sweepers worked continuously,
24 hours a day, for 9 months to keep the the airfield FOD free |
| JCB Fast-traks were used to haul 15,000 tonnes of aggregate
to provide pumps on a delethalisation programme. The Fast-traks were chosen by
Bar-W, as 20 ton tipper lorries would have been harder on the Runway surface with
their double axle drive wheels |
| |
| |
| 2 more JCB 3CX excavators worked continuously, 24 hours a
day for 9 months on an AGL project, being replaced after 6 months. Seen here are
the latest pair installing AGL blocks |
| |
| |
| In whiteout conditions, Bar-W still continued to install
a new pit and duct system for Alfred McAlpine's at BAA,s airports |
| |
| |
| We only use Cat 312 excavators for our AGL and Civil works,
we consider them to the best for the job. Our drivers find that they are quicker
and more flexible for the challenging environment we work in |
